Holiday's recap

on my first night back home I met my friend Eleonora. We are friends since..... I don't even remember when :) but before the highschool for sure.

she lives less then a km far but we haven't met since the beginning of May. we were both sooooooo busy, but in touch daily.

so we were both back from our holidays and we decided for our traditional holiday's recap to go to dorsia.

Dorsia is a restaurant-bar in the town next to ours. It's a fancy place, with the name from the restaurant in "American Psycho".

as it was really warm, we could sit outside, where there were really nice sofas, candles and plants. I don't know these people, it's a photo from the site www.dorsia.it; I wanted to show you the sofa with the undulating back. ihih

Last Night in MiMa

after a long rainy week I managed to meet my friends, Silvia, Anna, Matteo (Silvia's bf) and take some pictures.

It was my last night in MiMa and they surprised me visiting me at home.

Here it's me with Silvia and Anna, my closest friends at the seaside; we have been knowing each other since when we were 12 or 13 years old. we meet only at the seaside, even if me and Silvia live in two towns, which are 40km far, but i think we are going to break this habit: right Silvia?
Anna lives in a city 200 km far from mine.

we were chatting in my yard, then we wanted to sit and drink some water.... and we found this perfect location!

Down my flat there is a hairdresser's and a beautician's and they put benches and a table, which are really really cosy! so i ran upstairs to take water and we sat there.... it's a pity that we discovered it too late!!!

can you imagine it with some beers, cards.... awesome!

Ferragosto

Ferragosto is the 15th August. As I've always been at the seaside, I understood it was a religious holiday... later on. why? because here they organise..... parties!!!!

so at "Bagno Dario" there was a party at 5 pm. Music, cakes, wine, pizza....

but what about the night?

Simona, a friend of mine of the university, came here with friends;
and on Ferragosto's night you cannot miss the party in "Bagno Papeete".
this Bagno is almost in the centre, and it has always dancing aperitivi.
the people who go there everyday, are all tanned with solarium, really on fit. the men all with waxed chests and backs, the women just out from a catwalk.
and you can see all the sunglasses that you see on fashion magazines. just to give you a clue!

so at night there is this huge party on the beach. we had to reach it from another beach, because at the main entrance there was a long queue.
there were something like 4 bars. a stage where the deejay was playing music and saying things like, "put your hands up, papeete" or listing all the cities, to exhort people to scream when he was saying theirs. I assume there was also the television, as there is every year.

I had a lot of fun, that's why I have just few photos :D I forgot to take them ahahah.

the most important thing is that I was there by bike. yes guys, I had to betray Matador! (my bike in Bremen). here is the bike I rented here.

on the 16th i went back to Papeete, for the presentation of a book. I was with a friend and she knows the writer. we got in the stand, we were introduced to everybody and.... getting out.... there was a beer on the table where the books and the t-shirts were... I managed to pour beer on the t-shirt :S
Juan, I could hear your voice saying "Flaviaaa!".

that's all for now.

kisses and hugs

Milano Marittima

So, let's start my blog with.... where I am now :)

I'm at the seaside,in a place called Milano Marittima (MiMa) that means Milan on the sea :D.

This place was founded by Milan business men just to go on holiday, so during the winter almost anyone lives here.

now MiMa is famous for the nightlife and the celebrities, who spend here their holidays (when they're not in Sardinia, in Briatore's club, ihih).

so this is what i can see from my window :D many many trees, this sort of pine, which grows near the sea.

then, we have the beach, who is organised in "bagni" with rows of umbrellas, that you reserve for the period of your holidays. each "bagno" has a bar, where you can also have lunch, showers, cabins, where you can lock your own stuff, without taking them everyday back and forth from your home, or where you can change bathing suits when they're wet.

My "bagno" is called "Bagno Dario". Here they have been knowing me since i was 1 year old.
we also have here a bar, which is a proper restaurant, with a terrace on it, the animation committee, a volleyball field, tabletennis, games for children, gazebos, a small bar only for "aperitivo" (the drink and appetizers we have before dinner), a simple gym and most of all: a kicker!!!!

i haven't played, yet. but I'm going to ask the animation committee to find me some people to play with.

so if you're reading till this, it means that you didn't fall asleep :D

kisses from the seaside and.... see you on the next post ;)
